LOVE IS GOOD BUSINESS
In this time of economic flux, Robert Kiyosaki's book Rich Dad's Prophecy has some timely suggestions for how each of us can become more financially literate and stable. There are many surprising and revolutionary ideas presented in this book that illustrate the expansive wisdom that good business is good for everyone. The author suggests that to be truly wealthy, an investor must invest in all three socio-economic classes, the rich, the middle class and the poor. This is both good business and goodness of spirit. The mission statement of the Rich Dad organization is to “elevate the financial well-being of all humanity”. This reminds me of Ernest Holmes’ suggestion that when we pray for our own health and good fortune we do well to pray for the same for all human beings. This is an effective way to remove the small mindedness of ego from the prayer and acquisition process. Something deep and powerful moves inside when we wish good fortune and well-being for all humanity. Could it be that this is indeed part of our own journey to financial freedom? I believe it is. Lest we be naïve, however, keep in focus that this journey requires tremendous discipline, health and clarity of mind. The Rich Dad books, products and services ask nothing less than emotional maturity as a pre-requisite to financial literacy and wealth. The biggest risk to our comforts, freedoms and way of life is our collective immaturity and financial illiteracy. Please join me and take responsibility for your own financial independence, as we move together toward the well-being of all humanity.
