WEALTH IN MOTION
Unemployment in the US has stayed surprisingly high in spite of recent economic growth. This is accompanied by a shifting of increased wealth to asset owners and away from wage earners. Those of us who own businesses, real estate, stocks, bonds and other assets are therefore doing better financially than those who rely on a paycheck for their livelihood. While this is fortunately changing as businesses continue to prosper and need new employees, I wonder if this unusual trend reflects another deeper process that says something about the evolution of human consciousness. We have known for some time now that job security as we once knew it no longer exists. Is it possible we are being asked by these trends to be more innovative, independent and creative not only out of necessity but also for the psychological and emotional benefits? Anyone who has faced the risk and reward of attaining financial independence will tell you about the sense of empowerment that this can bring. Here we have the possibility that we are collectively creating a world that continually requires greater financial freedom and movement toward emotional health and well-being. This freedom and wellness in turn allows greater room and opportunity for creative expression, which is why we are here. Consider that the universe just may be conspiring to help you become the magnificent being you were born to be.
