Of Course, All Is Well
Of course, good things are happening. As a matter of course, well being is coursing through your body and mind. Of course you are loved just as you are. Of course, your body/mind is constantly working to create health and happiness. Of course, brilliant people are working diligently to make this world better for all of us, and good folks are quietly going about the business of doing the right thing. These things are a matter of course. They are not exceptional or sensational. That's why you're reading it here and not in your mainstream news headlines.
Goodfinding, abundant joy and emerging well being are ongoing, automatic and ever present. As a matter of course, we often take these things for granted. So, what is the course you are on? What is your direction, where are you going and what are you seeing or projecting into your future? Consider this as a matter of course: You are brilliant, gifted and compassionate. Your blessings and opportunities far outweigh your obstacles and difficulties. Of course there are people very near you who want to help you reach all of your goals. Of course, you are magnificent.

A Truth That Will Last
An ancient king wanted a truth that would last. He was tired of temporary or partial truths. He called upon the wise women and men of his kingdom to provide him with this lasting truth, but one by one they each failed. Being a little primitive in nature, he decapitated them to show his disappointment in their failure to provide a lasting truth. Understandably, he started feeling depressed. One afternoon in his royal chamber, drooping on his throne, the king heard the sound of bells. He was so miserable he didn't even lift his sad regal head to see what it was, as the tinkling bells came closer and closer. Then, the bells stopped. The court jester leaned ever so lightly over the king's shoulder and whispered, "This too shall pass." The king rejoiced! Finally, he had a truth that would last!
How can we use that in Goodfinding? When things are not so good, comfort yourself with, "This too shall pass." Use the optimist's strategy and learn all you can from the down times so that you don't re-create them, and they will pass even faster. And when things are good, tell yourself, "This too shall pass" just long enough to remind you to savor the goodness of the moment. The more you savor and enjoy the goodness in your moments, the longer those moments will last and the more quickly they will return after they pass. Try it!

I am amazed at the kindness that is being shown on my other site, AngerManagementResource.com in the stories being told and the comments made by other visitors. Two mothers of small children have written stories about the struggles they are having as mothers. Take a moment and read, Excessive Anger Outbursts and this one (long title), Depression, Anger & Stress All Rolled Into One Insane Recipe. In the comments, you will see how other mothers have offered help, support and encouragement. Feel free to put in your two cents!
In this story entitled, A Child, The Enemy you will read about a soldier who had to do the unthinkable. Be sure and read the response by Wayne, another vet. This is powerful, so hang onto your hat! For a soft landing from this journey, read this story by Rose Waddell entitled, Climbing Trees. Rose and Wayne continue to contribute beautiful stories of healing and self-discovery. What A Wonderful World--Videos
Something about Louis Armstrong crooning "What A Wonderful World" in his throaty voice takes the song straight into our hearts. Bob Thiele and George David Weiss were certainly doing some Goodfinding when they penned those lyrics back in 1967. Now sit back, and take a few moment to enjoy this video showing a surprising couple of four-leggeds enjoying some intimate time together. When it comes to a song like that, double-dipping is an excellent idea. So now hear Louis warbling again while watching some heart-warming scenes unfold in this video. Now, if you're up for it, watch the man himself and see if you can take that smile of his all the way into your heart.
Speaking of your heart, The Institute of HeartMath is completely devoted to helping you create and maintain a healthy heart! This video shows a couple of people using the handy and highly sophisticated emWave device. Learn more and watch an instructional video here.
